"Pair of Islamic Basin, tinned copper bowl, Afghanistan"
A pair of beautiful antique basins in hammered tinned copper, from Afghanistan, from the 19th century, early 20th century.
These basins with a domed base, are decorated with engraved, showing traces of black paste inlays in the incisions.
The outer walls are surrounded by bands of festoons and medallion points, stylized arrowheads, decoration found in Central Asia.
These basins are placed on large pedestals.
The objects are in very good condition and have a beautiful patina.
The patina of the whole is superb.
