"Polychrome Earthenware Fireplace Trim With Violets Decor, Fives - Lille"
A set of polychrome earthenware fireplace surrounds comprising two vases and a jardinière. This refined decoration features a delicate pattern of hand-painted violets, with pastel shades of pink and blue shading, enhancing their elegance. The sculptural forms of the feet and handles add a touch of sophistication to this set. Inscribed below “DB”, corresponding to Gustave de Bruyn, founder of the Fives earthenware factory in Lille, located in the industrial suburb of the city.
