"Austrian Ebony And Ebonite Desk On Leg, Vienna, Circa 1880"
Elegant Austrian desk, topped with a sculpture representing a bacchante and a putto. It opens with two doors decorated with panels illustrating mythological scenes, revealing an interior furnished with drawers decorated with painted panels. The lower part comprises a desk with a drop front with a writing surface in gilded leather, accompanied by two drawers, and a drawer in a frieze with compartments.
