"18th Century Box For Hairpins, Louis XV Period"
Pin box, from the Louis XV period, perfect orange lacquer, all sides, with floral decoration of various roses, except on the back. Box used to place the pins of hairstyles to be adjusted and held, both women and men, wigs and hats; on the top is a trimmed fabric allowing them to be stuck in when washing. Beautiful object, in good condition, witness of its time, entirely authentic; the fittings like the push button lock are original, the interior whose bottom is padded with a green silk -later- is in very good condition.
