- This pair of vases takes up the formal characteristics of the Medici vases; a bell shape with a curved edge decorated here with a frieze of lanceolate leaves, a smooth plain body, a belly adorned with a frieze of large acanthus leaves curving slightly outwards with detail, the pedestal is decorated (from bottom to top) with a torus of laurel leaves on its circular base then with grooves on the curved part and finally with a ring topped with an inverted neck at the level of the knot. - The belly of each vase is flanked by two delicately crafted handles; initiated by satyr heads, they are formed by two facing foliage bases which unfold on either side.
- The sculpted details demonstrate a very fine chiseling work with a sense of detail. The vases rest on a square section base in Valencia Yellow marble interspersed with patinated bronze to harmoniously match the vases.
- Some losses are to be noted.
- Dimensions: Height: 36.5 cm, Width of the base: 11.5 cm
