"Portrait of Martha". Pastel signed Albert SERVAES (1883-1966) and dated 1947. Exhibited in 1970 at the Royal Museum of Antwerp (Label on the back) Expressionist painter and charcoal draughtsman of portraits, landscapes and religious scenes. He belongs to the second generation of Lathem. Works in the Museums of Antwerp, Brussels, Ostend, Amsterdam, Eindhoven, Haarlem, The Hague, Cologne, Darmstadt, Munster, Grenoble and Paris. Dimensions with frame: 66cm x 54cm Dimensions without frame: 45cm x 35cm
