"Velvet Purse With Silver Mount - Holland, Early 19th Century "
This very rare velvet purse has a silver frame decorated with figures set in antique architecture. It opens with two gussets. There is some wear on the original velvet. Beautiful Dutch hallmark from the beginning of the 19th century.
