Portrait of a boy from Milanese high society, made in pastel on paper by the Milanese painter Eugenia Bosoni Majocchi (Milan, 1890 - 1971). A former student of Camillo Rapetti, Paolo Sala, Riccardo Galli, she graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. In her city she participated in numerous exhibitions, and became known as a skilled portraitist, especially of figures from Milanese high society, and as a landscape painter. She distinguished herself in the pastel technique, demonstrating confidence also in oil painting. The work is dated and signed lower right, 'E. Bosoni M. 1926 (?)'. Contemporary frame, white with gold edge. Milan, 1920s.
Condition: very good, signs and wear due to use and time.
