Large French Regence Lock, 1.2kg, Wrought Iron With Beautiful Cutouts, 18th Century

Superb locksmith object, this forged bolt is from early 18th century. The plate, with strong openwork cutouts, 31.5cm x 11cm, is elegantly hand-cut, with a cold chisel of typically Louis XIV (or Regency) cutouts.
Good condition, with a decorated strike plate recently redone, which has the merit of existing.
Height: 31.5cm Width: 16cm, thickness with the beautiful forged-turned button 6cm. Weight: 1.2kg.
