"Directoire Period Library Table"
Library table from the Directoire period. Late 18th century. In cherry wood, it rests on four eight-sided legs ending in bronze sabots and casters. It opens with four original drawers in the belt whose grooves are in oak. The cherry top, certainly redone in the 19th century, is molded with a cavetto. Old grafts on two drawers. This table has a beautiful honey-colored tint. Its diameter allows it to also be used as a dining room table. Finished with waxed filling. Dimensions: Diameter 125 x H 73 (height under the belt 61)
