"Marquetry Secretary Stamped Léonard Boudin (1735-1804)"
Elegant Transition marquetry secretary stamped by Léonard Boudin (1735-1804) received Master on March 4, 1761. The species used are rosewood, violet wood, stained maple and amaranth. It is composed of an ogee drawer under the marble and a flap revealing an exceptional theater with its eight drawers topped with storage compartments. An inkwell is present in one of the drawers. A rare characteristic of this piece of furniture is the absence of a crosspiece between the flap and the lower leaves. This piece of furniture has been completely restored, varnished with an old-fashioned stamp, the leather of the flap has been changed. DIMENSIONS: 0.82m wide, 0.36m deep, and 1.39m high.
