Bernard Boesch (1914 - 2005) Bernard Boesch, painter, began exhibiting his works at a young age, participating in prestigious events such as the Salon des Artistes Français and the Salon d'Automne. Subsequently, he oriented his career towards architecture, contributing for more than three decades to the reconstruction of the French Atlantic coast after the Second World War and to the architectural development of La Baule, a renowned seaside resort. Inspired by Fauvism and his exchanges with figures such as Matisse, Raoul Dufy, Charles Walch and Bernard Buffet, Boesch developed his style towards a painting that was initially geometric, then minimalist. With an artistic career spanning 75 years, his work is positioned on the border between modern and contemporary art.
