"Poulbot" bronze subject with brown patina representing a young boy with bare feet, hands in his pockets signed on the base L.KLEY Louis KLEY BORN March 17, 1833 in Sens, Louis KLEY was an apprentice in jewelry before turning to sculpture in 1850. He exhibited between 1853 and 1897 and made statues, statuettes, busts, medallions and groups in bas relief. He received the silver medal at the 1889 Universal Exhibition in Paris. He died in Sens on March 8, 1911. Work from the beginning of the 20th century.
