Sculpture in spelter representing a player of Lyonnaise ball. Lyonnaise balls are larger than petanque balls.
The player is captured in the moment before the throw. The sculpture is very graphic, built on the diagonal from the forehead to the extended leg, according to the canons of art deco. The profile of the face is also representative of this period.
A signature, to be deciphered, is affixed to the bottom of the left leg. The sculpture is fixed on a veined marble base. The whole is in excellent condition, without scratches or chips.
