The front has a double crossbow-style curve and the equally curved sides end with a projection at the level of the rear uprights.
Very impressive work with an oak frame, we will also note the magnificent three-point lock, the interior doors veneered in rosewood and finally a very beautiful red griotte marble top molded in double bec de corbin.
All these elements testify to a high-flying manufacturing provenance, which we attribute to Pierre V Migeon, with some clues to support it: the jurande punch, some traces of stamps and a pencil text on the top, not easy to read but which can nevertheless be deciphered by "Migeon et fils", finally the multi-lobed marquetry pattern, which is found on many pieces of furniture from the Migeon dynasty.
Very good condition, natural French polish made by our workshop.
