Elegant and refined chest of drawers with a shaped front with decorated inlays in all drawers and a move to give more liveliness and vivacity to the piece of furniture itself.
The high relief carvings and the double central notching that run down the side pilasters and frame this 18th-century 4-drawer chest of drawers represent an important decorative element in the sobriety of this piece of furniture that is intensely chiaroscuro.
The cabinet made of walnut and briarwood with bright, fanciful fillets rests on onion feet.
The 4 large drawers emphasise their division by means of a moulded frame framing them. Five panels protrude slightly from each drawer with an elegant inlay in the centre, wooden handles are attached to the two elongated ones, and a keyhole in the middle one
There is a beautiful play of wood and inlay on both sides and at the top.
