Extra large specimen of Diodon Histrix, also known as porcupine fish or more commonly puffer fish.
Its main characteristic is given by its extremely elastic skin covered with spines, which in case of danger can be inflated like a ball making the spines particularly dangerous for the predator.
This specimen, in addition to being unusually large, has a beautiful color that fades from beige to brown with dark brown polka dots.
In an original wooden notice board with period glass.
