Italy 18th CenturyA lovely pair of small carved giltwood and silver leaf candlesticks, totalling 61cm, in good condition. Rare and architecturally shaped bases.
Incredible patina and wear from age and use. Some old worm holes to one base and perhaps a small restoration to the frame of one.
In good overall condition and a rare pair in shape and size. Weighted by two pieces of lead fitted to the bottom later in time. They hold firmly because of this.
