ounger sister of Reinhoud D'Haese who was part of the Cobra group nursery in the 1950s
and of Roel D'Haese considered the greatest Flemish surrealist sculptor, B
egga had to make a name for herself.
From 1969, she began working on monumental sculptures, of which @igmarstuer and @pschantiques offer today two original and unique examples.

Both are signed at the bottom.
Carved in Afselia wood and resting on a bluestone base.
Circa 1980.
