Studies of Diana the Huntress on the same sheet, drawn by Ary BITTER in the years 1925-1930 with a view to sculpting these models.

Ary Bitter is also famous for his animal studies. The city of Marseille, his hometown, commissioned him to make 2 monumental sculptures for the grand escalator of the Saint Charles train station, called the great lions. Our drawing is to be compared with the many sculptures of Diana for which he excelled.
