"Antique Queen-bed Bedspread In Embroidered Linen And Cantù Lace 230x260 Cm"
Bedspread for a double bed in linen fabric, ecru color with lace inlays from Cantù of the same color and small hand-embroidered flower bouquets, slightly darker in color. This bedspread is finished all around with hand-sewn bobbin lace; the lace on the two long sides is identical and more "important" compared to the lace applied on the two short sides. This is an Italian trousseau item from the mid-20th century in very good condition, with no holes or fraying. It can be easily adapted as a curtain or used as a tablecloth.Two small yellowish halos are reported (see last photo).
