"Rare Automaton Clock Table "
Rare automaton clock painting dated 1875 and signed Narbel Liberté Patrie. Decor painted on sheet metal of a village with its mill, its houses, its church with a bridge. Background of a wooded landscape. The decors are in wood and painted cardboard. There are three automatons, the most important being the passage of two steam trains crossing on the bridge, the water wheel turns as well as the sails of the mill. ATTENTION the engine has been electrified, the original case remains with some reused notched wheels. a lighting system has been added, the whole works very well. the two feet have been added without altering the case to be able to present it on a piece of furniture.
