"Pair Of Louis XVI Style Gilt Bronze Candelabra Napoleon III Period 19th Century "
Lovely pair of finely chiseled Louis XVI style 4-light gilt bronze candelabras. Magnificent decoration each simulating a bouquet of natural flowers in an antique vase with ram's head-shaped handles and flower garland ornament. No flower is identical, each is of a different species. They rest on two beaded spinning top feet and in the center a base decorated with an acanthus leaf motif. Of very good quality, their mercury gilding has remained present and shiny. Completely dismantled and cleaned - but not regilded - they are ready to be installed! Their rich, abundant decoration is typical of the Napoleon III period. Dimensions: Height: 43 cm Width: approximately 26 cm Base width: approximately 13.5 cm Depth: approximately 15 cm Total weight: 4350 kg Very good condition. Beautiful original gilding, as in the photos. Small remains of wax. Please note that I respond to all requests about my objects.
