Earthenware service, decor by Marcel Goupy for Rouard, Art Deco period, 83 pieces. Marcel Goupy (1886-1954), famous decorator of the 20s to 50s, collaborated with Géo Rouart for many years and created emblematic pieces for this house, this service is one of the examples. Made in the 20s, in ivory enameled earthenware, polylobed shape, with decoration of game with fur and feathers in nature, in cartouches. Black animals (wild boar, hare, pheasant, deer, doe) and Indian pink vegetation. 3 different decorations for the plates. Other decorations on the shaped pieces. It consists of: 24 dinner plates, diameter 26 cm. 12 soup plates, diameter 25 cm. 12 dessert plates: diameter 23 cm. 17 starter plates: diameter 19.5 cm. 4 dishes: 24 cm by 14 cm. 1 covered vegetable dish: 27 cm by 7 cm. 1 soup tureen: 32 cm by 9 cm. 1 salad bowl: 27.5 cm by 9 cm. 1 vegetable dish: 27 cm by 4.5 cm. 2 flat round dishes: 33 cm. 2 flat round dishes: 31 cm. 1 oval dish: 40 cm by 29 cm. 1 oval dish: 36 cm by 27 cm. 4 mounted plates: diameter 24 cm by 4 cm. Handwritten signature and stamp of the publisher in black enamel under each piece. Good condition of the set. Note: some slight marks on some pieces but overall, very good condition considering its age. Very complete model, many very beautiful shaped pieces. A superb design, the shape of the pieces, the positioning of the decorations, unusual colors for a hunting service; magnificent!!!
