"Transition Period Table"
Transition period kidney table in marquetry à la reine on the belt and with ruin marquetry decoration on the top and the shelf. It opens with two side drawers and a curtain on the front revealing three drawers. Brice Péridiez known as Péridiez père (died in 1757). Master before 1738. He lived on rue du Faubourg-Saint-Antoine. His furniture is in the Louis XV style veneered with violet wood, rosewood, sometimes inlaid with cubes and flowering branches.
