Martine ROUART born in 1934 Martine Rouart is a contemporary painter and sculptor born in 1934, daughter of Paul Rouart and Agate Valéry. Painter and sculptor, she received training at the Beaux-Arts in Paris, author of a book of memories "La cuisiniere de Mallarmé".
Granddaughter of Paul Valéry, niece of Paul Gobillard and great-niece of Berthe Morisot, she spent her childhood with her grandfather, in the apartment on rue de Villejust, with walls filled with paintings by Manet, Degas, Berthe Morisot, and saw Gide, Renoir, Poulenc....
