Wall clock and its console from the Napoleon III period. Violet wood marquetry on oak frame. Rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes with rocaille motifs, shells, palmettes, acanthus leaves, flowers and scrolls. Topped with a cherub in gilded bronze. White enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours, and Arabic numerals for the minutes, marked Moisy in Paris. Movement signed Adolphe Mougin. Works with its key and its pendulum.
