Oil on panel depicting a shepherd with his sheep in a mountain pasture, made by Giuseppe Gheduzzi. The painter, curiously, chooses to represent the moment in which the shepherd is bringing the sheep back to a less impervious area. The panel is of great pictorial quality, both for the decisive and full-bodied brush strokes, and for the ability to render with incredible realism the changes of plane typical of the mountain landscape. Work signed lower right. Italy, early 1900s.
