Jeantimir kchaoudoff 1941- 2017 was born to a father from the Caucasus who died when he was 8 years old and a mother in fragile health.
He experienced the orphanage very early on and then wandering in Paris before leaving for the Algerian war.
On his return he went to live in Nogent le Rotrou in Sarthe where he became a second-hand dealer.
His drawings are the work of an Art Brut artist.
They represent imaginary scenes of life, which feature strange characters, full of naivety.
His work has been presented in numerous exhibitions and galleries.
