This rare pair of antique hand-painted porcelain cache pots, crafted by Donath & Co. in Dresden, Germany, at the end of the 19th century, features complementary designs in turquoise blue and yellow. Both pieces are adorned with delicate floral motifs, intricate gilding patterns, and panels depicting charming courtship scenes in pastoral settings. The cache pots are further enhanced by elegant crossed rope-style handles.
The bases bear the underglaze blue crown and Dresden marks.

Donath & Co. (1872–1916) specialised in decorating porcelain in the styles of Meissen and Vienna, often using blanks from Meissen, Thomas Co., and Limoges.
