"Louis XV-louis XVI Transition Period Gilded Wood Console"
Console in carved and gilded wood from the Louis XV-Louis XVI Transition period. Model resting on two arched, openwork uprights, decorated with scrolls and piastre falls. The crosspieces are decorated with interlacing and ribbon knots and embellished with garlands of flowers. Beautiful openwork spacer in a large flower vase. (no lack of sculpture) Beautiful old gilding. Period marble in red breccia (old repair) Parisian work, quality (all carved on oak) from the second half of the 18th century.
