Important terracotta group representing the child Bacchus and the goat. Inspired by the famous SARAZIN marble executed in 1640, copied many times in the 18th century. The most famous copy was commissioned in 1749 from Jean-Joseph VINACHE (1896 -1754) and offered by Louis XV to Madame de Pompadour. Usual restorations and cleaning.
