Michel Gabriel Joseph Toussaint Fronti, son of an artist, showed a vocation for painting from his childhood. He studied at the School of Fine Arts in Marseille (studio of Eugène Lagier), then in Paris (with Jules Lefèbvre and Benjamin-Constant).
A member of the Artistes Français, he exhibited and received numerous awards at various salons.
He was honorary president of the Artistes de Provence and a member of the jury of the School of Fine Arts in Marseille.
