Large folded fan with 18 strands. Lace leaf with branch and flower motifs surrounding two painted labels with delicate bird and flower motifs.
Mother-of-pearl frame engraved with applied gilding and silvering with a motif of flowers, branches and insects. Ivory arrows, metal bail and braid pompom.
Note two tiny wear marks in the muslin.
Period 1890-1900.
