"19th Century Neo-gothic Style Gargoyle."
Neo-Gothic style gargoyle, carved during the first half of the 19th century, in Farges stone (Saône et Loire), in perfect condition. Sculpted with a grotesque between two modillions, it is pierced from the top to the mouth, our last photo. Originally, in corbel, it supported a cornice serving as a gutter for a chapel near Lyon.
