Marcelle Ladeuil began painting at the dawn of the 1920s. A traveler and adventurer, she crisscrossed Scandinavia, Central America and the Pacific islands. Enjoying depicting exotic landscapes, she set up her easel in the Norwegian fjords as well as in the middle of the southern landscapes. Exhibiting at the Salon des Indépendants from 1928, Marcelle Ladeuil exhibited landscapes, still lifes and animated scenes. Her compositions reflect her search for light.
