"Large Italian Majolica Ball Vase 18th Century"
Large Italian ball vase in the Venetian style, earthenware with polychrome decoration on two sides, medallions with a helmeted soldier seen in profile, on a radiant yellow background. On the counter background we find a vermiculated blue decoration decorated with yellow and green foliage and flower scrolls. This vase is broken, glued back together and restored but it is nonetheless very decorative with flamboyant colors. Rare in this dimension. Early 18th century period.
