Large and rare fish vase in thick pressed glass molded and frosted by glass artist David Gueron Dit Degué (1892-1950). Degué is at the head in 1926 of Compiègne glassworks then the same year of the Degué art glassworks. Baluster-shaped with a high neck, this Art Deco-inspired vase symbolizes the world of the sea through a rotating decoration of stylized volutes evoking waves and a dancing round of intertwined aquatic animals in high relief. Signature in the decoration "Gueron FRANCE"
