"Pair Of Lamps Attributed To Philippe-joseph Brocard, Mamluk Style, Paris, Circa 1870"
An elegant pair of mosque lamps in green, mass-dyed blown glass, made in the Mamluk style. Each piece has a globular body topped with a flared conical neck and rests on a pedestal with curved contours. The rich and meticulous decoration consists of gilded leaf and palmette motifs covering the green enamel surface, with six looped handles brought back into reserves. These works, signed under the belly, illustrate the refinement and excellence of Parisian creations of the late 19th century.
