Pair Of Louis XVI Style Cabriolet Armchairs In Cream Lacquered Wood And Blue Rechampi, Late 19th Century

Beautiful pair of Louis XVI style cabriolet armchairs in cream-colored painted wood and blue rechampi. Each seat rests on four fluted tapered legs. The armrest supports are baluster-shaped and decorated with fluting. The backrest is in "hott", its upper crosspiece is in a hat framed by two small carved motifs in a pyramid shape. The seat is traditional and in very good condition and very comfortable. The covering fabric has a magnificent decoration featuring two male and female characters. These two decorations alternate on the seat and the backrest. Note, this fabric is in good house condition, it does however have some traces of use due to its use but it has remained in very good condition and does not need to be changed immediately. Also note some small traces of wear on the paint. We would like to point out that a second pair is available on request, which can thus compose a set of four armchairs.
