"Topoké Wedding Currency From Drc (ex Zaire)"
This large iron spear was used as currency to finalize an important transaction or as a marriage dowry.It is called "Liganda" among the Topoké, an ethnic group of the former Zaire and is made of delicately forged iron.
It is a large and beautiful example certainly dating back to the beginning of the twentieth century,
it measures 175 cm in height and 42 cm in width and is on a base.
