Rare Baccarat crystal glass set, José model, designed by Boris Tabacoff, 24 pieces. Exceptional glass set in clear, plain, transparent crystal created from 1971 to 1983. Designed by the designer Boris Tabacoff (1927-1985), creator of furniture and objects, who created the Pavot models in 1970, José in 1971 and Narcisse in 1971 for the Cristalleries de Baccarat. His entire work is characterized by a pronounced taste for the circle, the cylinder and the sphere and a marked attraction to transparency including glass and crystal. Barrel-shaped chalice on a long leg evoking a drop of water hanging from a tree branch. It consists of: 8 water glasses, 8 wine glasses, 8 champagne flutes. Dimensions: Water glasses: Height 20 cm / Diameter at the rim 7.5 cm / Diameter at the base: 7 cm. Wine glasses: Height 18 cm / Diameter at the rim 7 cm / Diameter at the base 7 cm. Champagne flute: Height 21 cm / Diameter at the rim 5 cm / Diameter at the base 6.5 cm. Magnificent work of stretching the crystal when hot.
