Beautiful key, late 16th or early 17th century, this key, drilled shank 8mm in diameter, is distinguished by its open pierce bit and its 5-tooth comb on a flared muzzle, typical of the second French Renaissance.
Its flat oval ring, 6mm thick, is cut with saw of an elegant jewel of the time trompe l'oeil, centered on a square cushion gemstone. A little touch that could make you think of a wedding jewel offered with it!
Good condition, no flaws, wear and tear.
