"Blue Green Color Box, Arte Povera Decor, Late 18th Century. "
Late 18th century box, blue-green in color, with Arte Povera decorations on all sides; an object rarely encountered in this color tone. This box, whose profile shape is rounded, although smaller, is in the spirit of a wig box perhaps used to place a fashion accessory such as clothing accessories. The Arte Povera motifs, originally from Venice, represent scenes of noble figures in parks and countryside, carriages, boats on lakes, all decorations plated according to custom, on the wooden core. Arte Povera motifs in very good condition.
The interior is lined with clean domino-type paper. The box rests on 4 small balls forming feet.
