She is a multidisciplinary artist, her works range from painting to sculpture, from photography to digital arts. Brainos draws her inspiration from a variety of sources, including modern Russian and ancient Greek art; she particularly admires Marc Chagall. Her works exist at the crossroads of dreams and reality, of her own world as well as the imaginary. Elisabeth Brainos was born in 1949, in Colombia. She has exhibited in numerous galleries in France, London, Geneva, Athens, New York. In 2009, her photographic work was awarded the Jury Prize in Kobe, Japan.
