Laroche : "lady On The Terrace" And "the Preparation Of Semolina"

Laroche (French school circa 1900/20): "Preparing the semolina" and "Lady on the terrace", a pair of small orientalist paintings, oils on fine canvas mounted on cardboard, approximately 17 X 12 cm, mounted in Flemish-style frames in wavy blackened wood with a gilded border, 23 X 20 cm (one of them slightly cussonné). Despite their small size, these paintings are very precise and pay particular attention to light, whether it is the young girl buttering the semolina sitting on the ground or the young woman on a terrace who, leaning against the wall, turns around to look at us... One of them is signed "Laroche" with an illegible initial that did not allow me to identify it. Do not hesitate to ask us for photos or additional information by email or telephone.
