Painter: Marine Assoumov (1956), painter, sculptor, ceramist. She lives and has her studio in Asnières-sur-Seine. She exhibits regularly in France and many of her works are in private collections. “Listed” artist (Artprice…) This painting plays with the contrasts of the deep and degraded gray of the sky and the bright colors of the houses, gardens and streets. There is nothing monotonous in this landscape but on the contrary a dynamic dimension. The style is abstract and cubist. Oil and mixed media on canvas (lots of texture to the touch), signed lower right and on the back with date (2002). Dimensions: 31 x 39cm and 44 x 36cm with wooden frame. Accident on the bottom of the frame shown in the photo and barely visible in reality.
