Beautiful Baccarat crystal wine carafe, late 19th century period around 1890 or 1900. Balloon-shaped, our carafe is a very rare collector's model in red crystal with a decoration of vine leaves and branches, cut and very finely engraved on the wheel. Old production, dating from before 1936, it does not bear the signature of the crystal factory. The shape is listed in the 1907 tableware catalog. Rare piece and in very good condition. It is by the perfection of these models (entirely made by hand!) that we can measure the technical supremacy of Baccarat over all its competitors of the time.
