Nicolas Sinezouboff was born in Moscow in 1891.
From 1912 to 1917, he studied painting, sculpture, and architecture at the University of Moscow.
In 1919, he was commissioned to design the cover of the Russian proletarian culture magazine *Creation*, published by the Ministry of the Press.
In 1920, he participated in the “Exhibition of the Four” in Moscow alongside Kandinsky, Rodchenko, and Varvara Stepanova.
Between 1922 and 1923, he stayed in Berlin. His works were showcased at the city’s first Russian art exhibition in 1922.
In 1927, he held a solo exhibition at the National Academy of Artistic Studies (GAChN) in Russia.
After 1928, Sinezouboff emigrated to France. His style remained influenced by movements such as New Objectivity and Magic Realism.
