Voldemar Volkoff (1932 – 2007) is both a ceramist and a painter, his art is inspired by the modern movement that marked the twentieth century. He was one of the last representatives of the Vallauris school. Voldemar Volkoff did his ceramic apprenticeship in Montpellier before working in different workshops in Biot and Antibes, from 1952 to 1954. Then in Vallauris in the workshops of Capron, Anasse, Meynard, Portanier, Reynaud. He participated in the Biennales of 1970 and 1972, then exhibited in France and around the world. And was part of the Quartz group from 1994. Good condition, modern frame. Dimensions without frame: 17.5 / 11.5 cm
